The following is an Etude assignment per section. (This assignment can be used, along with scales, to determine next year's Symphonic Band class.) Look below the printable etudes for your section's required listening assignment. Mr. C has recorded an instructional video to help all level classes with this etude. You can receive feedback from Mr. C at any time before the due date.

This Etude assignment is due by any Thursday of your choice, 11:59pm - required for Symphonic students(week of your choice), optional for all other classes. All individual performance assignments are to be recorded and submitted on Flipgrid. Beginners may use this assignment if you choose (beginner percussion on keyboard using oboe page), or you can start with another assignment from your class assignment page. Intermediate and Percussion classes - Your assignment 1 can be 3 scales of your choice, or this etude, or the Prolific Performer assignment below. (Percussion uses oboe page for the etude.)
Etude 2 is now ready for Symphonic students as of 4/12, 9:45 p.m. Students in other level classes may also do this as an assignment, especially if they would like to be in Symphonic next school year. Click tab below to access its page.
