Dear Hobbs Band Parents,
 
I hope this email finds you and your family well in health and in spirit.  I have been preparing assignments for students to continue to progress on their instruments while we prepare to start distance learning online this Thursday.   If your child’s instrument is already at home, please click on the band website link below to have them preview the instrument-specific assignments that are already loaded on the website. 
 
Some of you have students who left their instrument in the band room over spring break.   In order to provide your child with their instrument so that they can start progressing when we start online learning, I will be opening up the Hobbs band room from 6:00 pm till 7:00 pm tomorrow, Tuesday the 31st. 
Please use the following information as our guide to retrieve instruments from the band room:
 

• Only use the science wing exterior doors (near car rider ramp) to access the band room.  I will be standing at this door to count people entering and exiting. 
• Only send one person - your child or yourself, not both.
• We will only allow 9 people at a time into the band room.  Mrs. Corbin, my volunteer, will be at the band room door to assist you or your child with locating the instrument.  Please remain 6 feet away from others during this process.    
• Once Mrs. Corbin messages me that the first 9 people have cleared, I will allow the next 9 people in. 
• Please don’t panic as you see Mrs. Corbin and I wearing masks Tuesday night.  Neither one of us is sick.  We are merely taking precautions as we may need to assist some of you with obtaining the instrument.
