If able, at home, please first load on a device or laptop the KJOS.com version of your book by following the instructions on the back of your book. This is so you can hear and perform along with each assignment at home.

Parents - Your child should be working a minimum of 20 minute sessions at home, 4 times per week.  If more days per week, even better.  They should always do at home what we did in class that day in the same order we did it in class.

Work the following to be graded in class.  Also, to improve endurance, work on timing long tones like we did in class.

Make a goal of finishing all that are listed above in case Mr. C adds more as the quarter progresses.

By week 4 of school -   If your child is not approaching number 22 by this week, they are behind and in danger of receiving zeros in the grade book.  Zapping zeros is always allowed in class as long as this occurs before week 9. Please encourage them to work to complete all assignments this quarter. Check FOCUS grades for progress.

Due dates are on Focus, but students should make a goal of completing a minimum of one assignment per week in class.
